A bodyweight press from an inverted-V position with the hips raised. The elbows track closer to the trunk during the lowering and pressing phases than in the related elbows-out variation.
Place your hands and feet on the floor and lift your hips into an inverted-V position.
Lower your head and upper body under control while keeping the elbows closer to the trunk as shown.
Press through your hands to return to the raised-hip start position and repeat.
Keep the hips raised and the head moving in a controlled path between the hands.
Follow the closer elbow path shown in this video rather than flaring them outward.
Letting the hips drop so the press loses its pike position.
Flaring the elbows outward or dropping the head quickly instead of controlling the descent.
